AKT WARRANTY

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Aurora Knife and Tool products are warrantied against any defects in workmanship and materials under normal use conditions for the life of the product, provided you have maintained your tool. Maintenance includes but is not limited to: cleaning, sharpening, oiling, and thread locking.

Normal Use Warranty

Knives are knives, prybars are prybars, screwdrivers are screwdrivers. We warranty each of our products according to their intended use. For instance, if any part of your knife fails while cutting, slicing, dicing, whittling, carving, or fidgeting, it’ll be covered. Similarly, if your prybar fails while prying, scraping, twisting, etc., that’ll be covered. But we can’t cover your knife if it fails while prying, splitting logs, being chunked at a tree, etc. So if you intend to use your tools outside their intended use, just do so knowing that will void the warranty.

A Note on Disassembly

Some folks love to disassemble their gear. That’s cool - you do you. Just know that this comes with inherent risks on the customer side, including ruining your tool by stripping screws, losing, misshaping, or breaking parts, etc. This is not a defect in workmanship or material, so we do not warranty knives customers damage during disassembly, including stripped screws. Keep in mind, simply taking apart your tool and reassembling correctly doesn’t void the warranty, but breaking or ruining a part in the disassembly process will.

That said, if you do wreck a part during disassembly or through some other method that voids the warranty, we may have a replacement part available for purchase that would get you up and running. So check with us before tossing it in the dumpster! If you run into issues, feel free to message us at info@auroraknifeandtool.com

In no event shall Aurora Knife and Tool be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property or life, whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of our products. By using our product you assume the risks of a sharp blade, a hardened tool, a spinning gizmo, or whatever else we come out with, and the subsequent consequences for failure to use as designed and intended when properly maintained.
